Karl Otto BIO 40g

Karl Otto is a Porcini spice blend for risottos and sauces. Karl Johan (also known as Porcini) is one of our favourite mushrooms because it gives a wonderful earthy, autumnal and umami flavour. Ideal for risottos, pearl barley dishes and sauces. The Karl Johan mushroom is the obvious star of this exquisite blend, supported by garlic, crushed parsley and blue cornflower petals.
The flowers have been packed in a separate packet for dry sprinkling over your finished dish. Use approx. 2 tablespoons of KARL OTTO for every 100g of risotto rice. Even just one tablespoon (approx. 10 g) is equivalent to approx. 100 grams of fresh Karl Johan mushrooms and adds a rich, refined flavour to your dishes.
